“I remember feeling so impressed by the passion and hard work the students and mentors put into the climate work. I also felt excited to join the YouthCARES project as a preservice teacher. I wanted to learn how to take science and learning beyond the classroom. The research aspect also intrigued me. I valued being able to analyze details and listen to the participants' experiences.”
